OOPS!!!

Savannah has been driving for about 3 weeks now.   She has done excellent in that amount of time.   Unfortunately, new drivers tend to have mishaps.

She took out the Mirror on one of those tall yellow signs indicating a crosswalk.  

In her defense the sign is in the middle of the road, between lanes and you have to move over quite a little bit to miss it.



I felt really bad for her.   She got really quiet and I thought she was going to start crying.    I didn't yell at her, actually I told her it was ok, that everyone makes mistakes and new drivers are going to make their fair share.   I also said to her "I bet that will never happen to you again".  She agreed.

Richard was able to put things back where they belong.  We retreived the mirror from the road and were able to put it back on ( with the addition of a few cracks in the mirror of course).

Her Dad didn't dare yell at her as he hit the stupid thing the winter before last.
